Andrew and Nick start studying with the London Association of Funeral Directors

As part of their ongoing professional development and training, our very own Andrew Matthews and Nick Wibberley have started the prestigious Certificate in Funeral Arranging and Administration run by the London Association of Funeral Directors.

Since its inception in 2007, over 400 candidates have gained this qualification, aimed at equipping frontline funeral staff with the knowledge and skills essential to assist the bereaved with all aspects of arranging a funeral.

The course is overseen by David Hall DipFD, an LAFD Approved Tutor with many years of funeral service experience, and Dr Brian Parsons, training consultant, researcher and acclaimed author of several books on the funeral industry and funeral practices, including The London Way of Death and The Evolution of the British Funeral Industry.

Andrew and Nick will work with several other funeral professionals from across the Home Counties, until they sit their exams in August this year.
