Meet our Team
Managing Director & Funeral Director
Nicholas founded the company after a number of years in the funeral industry. He loves working with families and individuals from the local community to plan and direct personal and unique funeral services, honouring lost loved ones in the proudest way possible.
Rachael Pereira Wibberley
Rachael founded the company with Nick in 2018, shortly after their wedding. Rachael enjoys working with Nick and the team in providing high class funerals with unbeatable customer service. In addition to her work here, Rachael is also a teacher and private tutor in Maths, Science, and Music.
Funeral Operative & Branch Assistant
Andrew works hard to organise and support the funerals in the run up to them, and on the day as a driver and a bearer. When not on funerals he can be seen in the branch working closely with families.
Debby can be seen regularly in the branch organising the funeral administration and preparing the arrangements with families. Debby has worked in a number of customer service roles, and enjoys keeping the team organised.
Claire (Nick’s sister) is a works on the day of funerals as a conductor, leading and managing the day of the funeral. When not conducting funerals, Claire is also a driving instructor with her own driving school in the heart of Beckenham.
Driver / Bearer
Dave can be seen on almost all of the funerals driving the ceremonial vehicles and bearing the coffins. He has known Nick and Rachael for many years, and outside funerals sings with Rachael in the choir of St George’s Beckenham.
Brenda writes posts on various topics for our blog through which we engage with our local community. The Malaysian-born former journalist, freelance writer, and editorial consultant is aunt/aunt-in-law of Rachael and Nick, and works from her adopted home in Bonn, Germany.
Roger (Nick’s dad) can often be seen as part of the family team driving the ceremonial vehicles on funerals. Roger has come to the funeral industry only through this family business; he previously worked as a professional musician and lecturer.
Charity & Community Coordinator
David is an integral member of the team and works with us to find suitable community engagement opportunities and charitable causes for us to support. Outside this work he is good friends with Rachael and Nick, and enjoys singing and long country walks.
Star is a key member of the team, and is the smiley face behind the weekly ‘Therapy-Dog Thursday’ events in the funeral home. Many local people find great comfort by popping in for a cuddle and a play, and a chat over a nice cuppa.
Bereavement Dog Apprentice
Skye is starting to train hard to follow in Star’s footsteps in order to take over her work as the Company Bereavement Dog when Star eventually needs to retire.
“The team at N. S. Wibberley Funerals made us feel relaxed and at ease. They helped us with all the arrangements of our father’s funeral and guided us in the right way to proceed.”
Former funeral client.
“Very good at what they do. Nicholas and his team have great attention to detail and their funerals are always a very personal affair.”
Teri Berkengoff, Civil Celebrant.
“They take great pride in doing a good job.”
Rev Paul Milligan, Roman Catholic Deacon.
