Meet our Team

Skye
Bereavement Dog
Skye has followed in Star’s footsteps and taken over the work as the Company Bereavement Dog. Being a lockdown puppy, Skye loves every opportunity to meet people, and loves everyone. Like Star, Skye is also a Japanese Spitz.
Our ‘Bereavement Dog’ days are now less regular, but Skye enjoys meeting people when we hold them.

Star (RIP)
Bereavement Dog Emeritus
Prior to COVID, Star was a key member of the team, and was the first smiley face behind the weekly ‘Therapy-Dog Thursday’ events in the funeral home. Many local people found great comfort by popping in for a cuddle and a play, and a chat over a nice cuppa. Star passed away in 2023, but is remembered for the characteristic happy face of the Japanese Spitz breed.
