The 15th July 2022 saw a sad day for the N. S. Wibberley community as we bid a fond farewell to our very own Andrew Matthews as he moves on to pursue a different role in the funeral industry. Andrew joined the team in October 2019 as our first ever member of full time staff, and since then has been working closely with the families we serve delivering high quality funerals. Andrew has been in involved with every funeral we have conducted since he joined us. His work has included the ceremonial duties on funerals, driving our vehicles, carrying the bearing the coffins, and assisting in funeral services. He has also been regularly involved behind the scenes as well, working directly with people’s deceased loved ones in our mortuary, and meeting with families and assisting in the funeral arrangements.
In 2020, Andrew was a national finalist in the ‘Rising Stars’ competition for his work in the company, and in 2021 he gained his Certificate in Funeral Arranging & Administration from the London Association of Funeral Directors.
Andrew is moving on to a different role elsewhere in the funeral industry, but we are hoping he will still remain a regular visitor to us at N. S. Wibberley Funerals. Our company directors, together with all our staff, wish Andrew all the very best as he starts this new chapter in his career in the funeral industry.
